Woman killed in Estill County crash identified

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- We have new information about a crash that killed a woman in Estill County.

The coroner has identified the victim as Stephanie Schnittker, 72, of Irvine.

State police say just after one this afternoon she lost control of her car on Highway 52 just after 1 p.m. Thursday, and crashed into a van going in the opposite direction.

She died at the scene, police say eight people in the van suffered minor injuries.
