PARIS, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman lead police on a car chase through the streets of Paris, after a deputy attempted to stop her for several warrants.

Instead 27-year-old April Leadingham drove off, cutting through several side streets and reaching speeds near 50mph. The chase started on Book Street, before finally coming to an end on harmon, less than a mile away.

The Bourbon County Sheriff's Office says at Second and Lilleston, she clipped a fire hydrant, flattening her driver's side front tire, and then kept going.

The minute long chase finally ended after Leadingham lost control and crashed into a tree. She faces a long list of charges including wanton endangerment and fleeing police.
