Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A late Sunday night crash in Lexington sent a woman to the hospital after she ended up trapped beneath her own car.
Just after 11 p.m., the Lexington fire department said the woman crashed into a pole on Winchester Road at Patchen Wilkes Drive. She was thrown out of the car and became pinned underneath. Fire crews had to use airbags to lift the car off her.
She was taken to UK Hospital. Crews reported that she was conscious but in a lot of pain.
