Woman sprayed, man attacked in Lexington home invasion

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police are investigating a violent home invasion.

They were called to a home on Lisa Drive just before 5:00 AM on Monday. The victim told police that two men broke into the home where he and his girlfriend lived.

The woman in the home was doused with pepper spray. The male victim was attacked.

The men, one of whom was armed with a gun, demanded money. However, the victims told police that the would-be robbers left empty-handed.

Both victims were taken to UK Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Police are still looking for the suspects.
