Mother and two children found shot to death

Police went door to door Sunday, looking for clues in the shooting deaths of a mother and her two children.

Investigators found the bodies of 26-year-old Sade Goldsmith, 6-year-old John Devine, and 5-year-old Jon'Tee driving inside a Louisville home early Sunday morning. They also found an injured man inside the home.

People say they have never seen this kind of violence in the neighborhood before.

"I was very shocked. We don't have anything like this in our neighborhood. It's pretty quiet for the most part," said Tracie Julius, who lives in the area.

The injured man underwent surgery at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was in critical, but stable condition Sunday night. His name has not been released.

Investigators did tow away a vehicle parked in the home's driveway.
