Woman's body found at boat dock in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- We're tracking the investigation into the death of a woman, whose body was found near the Kentucky River.

Police found the body Wednesday afternoon, near the Poosey Ridge Boat Dock in Madison County. State police tell WKYT the woman is Jessica Gentry, 33, of Madison County.

They say they found her body laying in the grass beside her car. Police say the body did not show any obvious signs of trauma.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday.
