Our winter storm continues to dump heavy snow across central and eastern Kentucky. Look for our storm to taper off from northwest to southeast through the afternoon. One foot snow totals for several. Two foot snow totals for a few.
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Three women have asked the Legislative Ethics Commission to reconsider its decision to not punish former Democratic state Rep. John Arnold.
Yolanda Costner, Cassaundra Cooper and Gloria Morgan all filed ethics complaints saying Arnold used his position as a public official to sexually harass them.
The commission voted 4-1 to find Arnold guilty. But state law requires at least five "yes" votes from the nine member commission to convict. Three commissioners did not attend the hearing and one seat is vacant.
The women filed a motion on Friday asking the commission to re-hear the case on a day when all commission members can be present.
Executive Director Tony Wilhoit said the commission would consider the women's request at their next regularly scheduled meeting on May 12.
