Kentucky State Police confirm a worker died Tuesday afternoon after a tree fell on him.
The crew, from Kendall Tree Service, was removing trees along Highway 587, just outside of Beattyville, around three Tuesday afternoon when the accident happened.
State Police and the Lee County coroner are still trying to determine exactly what happened. At this point, investigators believe the death is accidental.
The name of the victim has not been released yet.
