Yahoo! Reporting Davis Injured, Out of Olympic Contention

Yahoo! sports is reporting that Anthony Davis, who led Kentucky to the 2012 NCAA championship, suffered a severely sprained ankle during a workout with the New Orleans Hornets and will not be able to contend for a spot with the U.S. Olympic basketball team.
Quoting sources, YahooNBA writer Adrian Wojnarowski via Twitter first reported the news following a morning workout by the Hornets, who have yet to officially confirm the injury. New Orleans last Thursday made Davis the overall #1 pick in the NBA draft, and also selected UK's Darius Miller in the second round.
