FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police have arrested an eastern Kentucky woman they say used the internet to sell sex.
Police in Floyd County say they received a tip claiming Valerie King put a "sex for hire" ad on Craigslist.
When police emailed her they say she responded by offering sex for $100.
Police then went to her home and arrested her for prostitution and a probation violation.
Prosecutors in Floyd County call this an unusual case.
"It's not something we see every day by any stretch of the imagination. To my recollection last one was 2002," said Assistant Floyd County Attorney Tyler Green.
King plead guilty to prostitution Thursday morning. She's facing up to six months in jail and a $250 fine.
