The Kentucky Department of Transportation is working to re-install barriers along a curve on KY 467 in Gallatin County.

The four ton barriers were first put up in January, one month after a family of five was killed when their car flipped into Eagle Creek. Eagle Creek runs beside the road.

But recent heavy rain has pushed the barriers down.

The Department of Transportation has temporarily put up barrels to warn drivers of the dangerous curve.

On Monday, officials will put new barriers up and try to work on a better way to secure them.
