Former UK Quarterback Andre Woodson was selected in the 6th Round of the NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
Woodson didn't see much playing time in the preseason due to the depth the Giants had on the roster. On Saturday the Giants released Woodson, deciding to keep on two quarterbacks on the roster.
Eli Manning and David Carr, while Anthony Wright was placed on injured reserve due to a back injury.
There is a chance Woodson could sign and join the Giants practice squad next week.
