Ok, if the girl is safe then why hasn't the story been updated! I hope this child is home and safe but this is crazy. If she is safe then why hasn't her mom updated? I will be watching the noon news!

This is for "friend"-If you know where this girl is, you need to tell her family. It isn't fair to them because I am sure they are terrified that something has happened to their child. You may think you are being her friend by not telling, but that just shows your immaturity also. You need to be responsible and tell her family or the police. Even if she doesn't want to be found, her family deserves to know what happened and where she is. I can't imagine not knowing where one of my children is. If her life at home is the reason she left, then she could always go into foster care. Please think about this and just tell them. I don't even know these people, but my heart goes out to them.

Lora,I know you must be a mess, but that friend that posted sounds like she knows Kayla has ran away and is 'safe'. Well, sounds like the poice believe that,too-i.e.,no amber alert. I'm betting she's with she's decided she wants to be with and hopefully she really is safe. I hope she can come home when she wants to. Kids this age think they know everything and only know enough to get themselves into trouble and danger.I know-I have a teenage daughter, too! It's so scary! Praying for her safe return!

Kayla Ann, IF you read this please get in touch with someone and let your family know you are ok. If you have run away or just need space, Please let them know that so your parents will know you are alive and well. I send many prayers to the family that this is solved fast and she is ok. God Bless you all.

Why was there not an Amber alert issued? Do the police not believe she was abducted, or is it because of her age? I pray she is found safe.
