Missing Plane Turns Up In North Carolina

Several southern Kentucky agencies spent Saturday afternoon searching for a aircraft that may have crashed.

Kentucky State Police in London say they received a distress call signal from a Cessna 172 airplane before losing it on radar in the Larurel and Pulaski County areas.

A search ensued, then crews were notified the plane and the pilot had been located safely in Shelby, North Carolina.
