A Parkette drive-in worker was smashed by an ordering marquee following a chain reaction incident.

The crash happened Wednesday afternoon at the newly-reopened restaurant on New Circle Road.

Witnesses say a man was attempting to back out of a parking spot at the restaurant when his foot got stuck on the gas. The car rammed into the side of another car. That vehicle then partially flipped onto it's side into the ordering menu and speaker-box machine. That machine fell over onto a car-hop that was giving change to a customer in the parking space next over.

All three people involved in the accident were treated for their injuries, but everyone is expected to be okay.
