Lexington's firefighters put their lives on the line everyday, but on Friday (3/20) they were also putting their cooking skills to the test.
Today, was the "First Annual Fire Cheif's Lunch."
Firefighters from around the city gathered to raise money for the American Red Cross.
They served plenty of food, ranging from jumbalaya to a special stew, and a tasty dessert.
Firefighters say raising money to help the Red Cross is the least they can do.
Firefighters say that due to the succeess of this years event, they hopes it can become a tradition.
