Animal May Be To Blame In Car Crash

An animal may have caused a serious crash on Monday (3/23) night, sending two teenagers to the hospital.

Police say a teenage driver swerved to miss a squirrel on Russell Cave Road, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

Her car ran through a fence and landed on its side. She had to be cut from the wreckage.

The driver and a teenage passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
