A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
Plans are in the works for a new school in Lexington. It would help students who quote "need a different structure."
The new school would be located in the old Linlee Building on Georgetown Road. It would be for middle and high school students.
Fayette County school officials say it would not be for students with disciplinary problems, instead the school would offer an alternative to the traditional approach.
The Lexington Herald Leader reports, parents would be able to apply for their children to attend and the school would open in time for this coming school year.
