Proposed Leash Laws In Anderson County

Lawmakers gathered in Anderson County on Tuesday, to introduce a new ordinance concerning dog owners and their pets.

Officials say the ordinance includes a countywide leash law, and changes to rules for owning a dog deemed to be vicious.

It was discussed this morning at the County Fiscal Court Meeting, in Lawrenceburg.

This is the first meeting and will be voted on sometime next month.
