Man arrested for pointing laser at pilots

Lexington Police arrest a man after pilots in their helicopter notice someone pointing a laser at them.

It happened late Saturday night just off of Richmond Road.

21-year-old Jonathan Maybrier was arrested after officers on the ground were directed to pull over his car.

According to court records, officers found two lasers in his car.

He's charged with 1st degree felony wanton endangerment.

Lasers can disorient or even temporarily blind pilots.
