Much quieter weather to finish of the work week

It was a wild and windy night across the state of Kentucky. Our highs gust was out of Hazel Green at 63 mph. There were several others in the 50-60 mph range. That will calm down big time today with no rain in the forecast.

A mixture of sun and clouds is the call with highs toward the afternoon in the 60s. Unfortunately we will still have 10-15 mph winds, so if you are not under the sun it will still be cool. We are staying dry for the trick-or-treaters and all of us heading out for High School Game Time.

The weekend features much cooler air for both Saturday and Sunday. The difference between the two will be the rain. Chilly, light showers expected on Saturday at 40%. This is not heavy rain, so this system won't be enough to cancel any plans. Just more of a nuisance. 49° is the high for Sunday and dry.
