Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
Rounds of showers and thunderstorms continue to roll across our region. A upper level low has parked itself across the Ohio Valley and continues to spit out the booming storms.
Some of these storms may be strong or severe. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary players.
Moisture from the Gulf of Mexico is surging into the state and this will up the chances for torrential rains. The threat for flash flooding will be with us throughout the week.
Highs will run from the upper 70s to low 80s through the 4th of July
