Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
A cold front is working across the state and is putting an end to the heavy rain and thunderstorms. Gusty winds are blowing in colder temperatures as we head into Saturday morning. Readings will be close to 30 degrees to start the day.
The rest of Saturday looks great for folks heading out to Keeneland. Highs will be in the 50s under sunny skies. Sunday looks great with highs in the 60s with some late day clouds.
Another heavy rain maker rolls into town on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms could dump 1"-2" of rain across the region.
