Rounds of showers and storms continue to develop. Some of these could be strong and put down very heavy rainfall. Watch for local high water issues.
Now that we have finally put the snow in our rear view mirror for a couple days the cold is what we will have to deal with today. After starting in the single digits our afternoon highs will rise quickly, but not far enough. Sunshine will help us get into the 20s this afternoon.
Heading into Wednesday we have a storm system to the south of us moving toward the eastern seaboard. More than likely that will throw some snow showers toward our eastern and southeastern zones. Depending on the track of this system will depend on how much we will see on the ground. Right now I'd plan on a few inches for our mountainous region in far southeastern KY and smaller amounts the farther you track toward the northwest.
Friday looks to be our next best chance at snow showers with snow chances running into the weekend. FINALLY we have rain in the forecast, which should come at the start of next week!
