Boone County police searching for missing rapist

BOONE COUNTY, Ky (WKYT) -- We're tracking the search for a convicted rapist who didn't show up for his sentencing.

Police in Boone County are looking for John Stuedle, 23.

He was convicted last year of 15 counts of statutory rape and custodial interference.

He didn't show up for his sentencing in November so it was rescheduled for January 16, but he didn't show up then either.

A judge still gave Stuedle a five year sentence.
