Color Me Rad charity 5K races into Lexington on March 2nd

LEXINGTON, KY - A colorful take on the traditional 5K charity race is coming to the Bluegrass this March.

"Color Me Rad" is a popular national race that raises money for the Ronald McDonald House. Runners race through "color bombs" thrown by volunteers, which are full of dyed cornstarch. They cross the starting line wearing white t-shirts, and finish the race covered in rainbows of powder.

Anyone fourteen and over can volunteer to shower the runners with "color bombs."

The race will be run on March 2nd at the University of Kentucky. Registration is on Color Me Rad's website.
