LEXINGTOn, Ky. (WKYT)-They broke in the back door by smashing the glass and made their way inside. Police need your help identifying two men who bypassed the buffet at the Golden Corral on February 13th. Police say they made the cash register their main course and did significant damage to several vending machines on the side.

"People burglarize businesses they are most comfortable with," Det. Robert Sarrantonio of the Lexington Police Department said. "Usually, they've been in before or they know people who've been in there. They don't want to be surprised."

Which is why police were surprised the men seemed unaware of the surveillance system. Officers say the two also helped themselves to merchandise and police say if these guys aren't caught soon, another business could be the next order up.

"In crimes like this, these people have probably committed more burglaries like this; in residential and commercial burglary, most of these suspects don't just commit one; they commit many. Were hoping someone can identify them."

Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call 859-253-2020. It is a free call and it is anonymous.
