More rounds of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain will be pressing through the area this evening and tonight. Numerous Flash Flood Warnings have been issued for parts of our region.
The story for the next several days will be the heat and humidity as both will be on the increase. More than likely this will be the hottest week of the year as we move toward the weekend. Today's forecast will feature mostly sunny skies with a warm afternoon temperature of around 91°. Each and every day will show a chance of an isolated storm or two. Today should be the driest day of them all, though.
The temperatures through Friday will be from 90°-94°. Humidity will make our bodies feel like 97°-103°. Get ready for the heat and try to stay out of it as much as possible. The best chance of rain, even though they aren't great chances, will be on Wednesday and Thursday before increasing the chances for storms during the weekend as a front rolls through.
