Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
If you enjoyed yesterday then you will enjoy today. It will be another chilly one out there today with morning temperatures in the 30s and we end up this afternoon in the upper 40s to lower 50s under mostly sunny skies. High School Game Time looks chilly with kickoff around 45°, so grab the blankets as you leave the house.
Heading into the weekend we have a slight warmup in store as highs move toward the mid to upper 50s. Both days will show for a good amount of sunshine, but gusty winds from 10-20mph will make for a cool Saturday.
We have talked about the threat for some snow next week and not much has changed except for timing. It's leaning more toward a Tuesday appearance with the chance still lingering into Wednesday.
