Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
Sunshine returns just in time for us to head toward the weekend. Here is something we haven't been able to say for a while...we are normal today! I don't mean we as people because you know that's not true ;) I mean temperatures are finally back to normal. Our highs this afternoon will settle in the upper 50s to lower 60s where our average high is around 62. It'll be a nice day out at opening day for Keeneland!
This will be, by far, the warmest weekend that we have experienced this year. Highs will be around 70 for both Saturday and Sunday with partly cloudy skies. Staying dry on Saturday, but Sunday will feature a 20% chance of rain during the afternoon. For all you warm weather lovers, next week will be the week for you! Highs will be in the 70s with even the possibility of an 80 degree reading toward midweek! We need to watch this system that will be sliding in near Thursday as it does look to pack a punch. Still several days out, but that is something to keep in mind. Have a great Friday and weekend!
