You know when you wake up to the 50s then you have something off balance. That would be our weather the next few days. Spotty showers expected today with highs in the upper 50s.
Let's talk about the weekend. Showers and thunder will be with us during the morning hours, take a slight break during the afternoon and then pick back up during the nighttime hours. The nighttime storms will be the ones to watch. Potential strong to severe storms out of this with damaging winds being the main threat. Timing on this should be right around midnight Saturday night through 7am Sunday. Also, a flood threat is possible for the far northern and western zones.
Winter slides back in on Monday with a few snow showers. Not expecting much out of this and things start to dry out as we move into Christmas Day.
