Man steals money from Girl Scouts in Northern Kentucky

ERLANGER, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police in northern Kentucky are looking for a man they say stole from some girl scouts!

It happened this afternoon at the Kroger in Erlanger, when police say a suspicious man was seen following a woman who was selling cookies in front of the store.

They say the man took a purse from the woman's car, and ran off with it.

Kroger employees followed the man, who then threw the purse back, without the cookie money inside.

He's described as a hispanic man, about six feet tall, 160 pounds.
