A dynamic system will cross the state over the next few days and deliver another big rain event. This could cause flash flooding across parts of the state.
Can we at least get a rain check for one day?! This weather pattern has been on the verge of ridiculousness...I take that back. It's been ridiculous and it looks to continue for today, but nothing like what we have seen the past couple of days. Most of us stay dry today, but are looking at a continued flow out of the northwest that will bring us the slight chance at rain, snow and sleet. Like I said, though, nothing like we have seen the past 48 hrs. Highs today settle in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Finally come Thursday we will see all of us leaving our umbrella's at home. Mostly sunny skies with highs well in the 40s. For Friday and Saturday there have been two trends we've been watching. The first is temperatures climbing as we will see 50s and possibly 60s on Saturday. Both days have shown an increase in moisture, which will give us a slight chance (20%) for both days. Saturday still appears to be the best day we feel in quite some time. Easter Sunday's thoughts haven't changed as it looks like the kiddos will have a hard time getting outside for their egg hunt with scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder.
