Panel: Library owes former Lexington director

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) --We've learned the Lexington Public Library has been told it owes money to its former director, who was fired nearly four years ago.

According to the Herald-Leader, an arbitration panel ruled today the library's board of trustees fired Kathleen Imhoff without cause.

So, arbitrators say that means the library was required to honor the two years left on Imhoff's contract, at the time.

The library fired Imhoff over accusations of questionable spending.
