The slow-moving complex of showers continues to inch its way eastward this afternoon. Due to the snail's pace, temperatures have leveled off for the Bluegrass with warmer conditions farther east (where it stayed dry for a longer period of time). Afternoon highs are expected to reach the lower to middle 80s (with some areas near Cincinnati could reach the upper 80s).
There will be lulls in the precipitation and most of what's out there is light to moderate showers (although a few cells are starting to strength a bit). Expect this pattern to continue through the day with isolated showers and storms this evening through early Saturday. Scattered showers and storms will develop tomorrow afternoon with the threat for strong to severe storms Sunday.
Have a great weekend
