People who live in the Tuscany neighborhood say they've seen a coyote roaming around the area. Now, Chief Nathan Bowling, with Lexington Animal Control, says the owner of the nearby farm land has hired a private company to capture the creature. "The owner told me that they have found a den so they are working towards a way to get these coyotes out," explains Bowling.

Bowling says Animal Control is no longer working this case however they will assist the land owner in this issue if needed.

Officials with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife say that coyotes are usually scared of humans but are able to adapt to any society if needed.
"Coyotes in general need two things to survive," explains Steven Dobey, "that's habitat and food, and if one of those items are removed the coyotes will find it somewhere else."
