Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. This action is packing a lot of lightning and heavy rainfall. Flash flooding is possible through Wednesday.
Another great weather day is wrapping up across central and eastern Kentucky. This will set us up for one more nice one before the bottom drops out for the weekend. That doesn't spell good news for the thousands of folks heading out to the Kentucky Derby.
Isolated showers or storms may go up on Oaks Day with temps back into the 70s for highs.
A wall of rain will work eastward across the region into Saturday and those rains will become heavy at times. Much colder air will spin in here and our readings by the afternoon will drop into the upper 40s and low 50s for some.
Chilly showers will stick around into Sunday with highs back in the low 50s.
1"-3" of rain will be possible this weekend into early next week.
