General showers will be the main action over the next few hours. A few could remain on the strong to severe side in eastern parts of Kentucky.
UPDATE: We are told troopers found 71 year old Abner Gabbard, of Booneville, dead at the scene and 25 year old Andy Smith, also of Booneville, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
The Owsley County Coroner, Eddie Issacs, pronounced Gabbard dead at the scene.
Smith was transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment.
Detective Rob Morris is working the case.
UPDATE: Trooper Paul Blanton confirmed a man has died, after shots were fired in Owsley County Saturday night.
We're told the man died at the scene.
Another man, Blanton says is 25 years old has been transported by helicopter to UK Hospital for a gunshot wound, possibly to the chest.
We're told the incident is being handled as a death investigation.
OWSLEY COUNTY, Ky (WYMT/WKYT) - State Police trooper Paul Blanton tells us troopers are responding to a shots fired call around 8:20 Saturday on Seales Road, which is northeast of Booneville.
Blanton says it is an ongoing investigation, but they believe it was a neighbor dispute.
They say one person was flown out due to injuries, however we do not know the extent of their injuries.
