Slow-moving showers & storms causing flash flooding problems over Eastern & Southeastern Kentucky continue to inch along to the southeast at 10mph. Additional flooding problems are possible for Leslie, Perry, Knott, Letcher, Pike, Martin, Johnson, and Floyd Counties this afternoon. The Flash Flood Warning for Fleming County has been cancelled as flood waters are beginning to recede. Flash Flood Warnings continue for parts of Bath, Rowan, Knott, Leslie, Letcher, Perry, Menifee, Morgan, and Rowan Counites until 4pm. Scattered showers and storms are still possible over areas currently dry (mainly along and west of I-75). If you don't see those scattered showers and storms, expect a hot and humid afternoon with highs in the lower to middle 90s and a heat index close to or exceeding 100 degrees. More widespread showers and storms coming our way Thursday and Friday.
