Showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening. A Flash Flood Watch remains active until 8pm for southeastern Kentucky.
Snow showers flying around during the early portions of the day with a coating-1" for most with possibly a few spots at the 2" mark. Working our way into the afternoon we will see the actual front move through, which will bring us snow & rain showers with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Once the front pushes on through we are seeing some very cold air working in place tomorrow morning with overnight lows in the teens!
We stay dry and chilly on Wednesday before a push of milder air works in place for the end of the work week. Rain will accompany those warmer temperatures in which they will arrive during the night on Thursday. Showers will work their way through during Friday with highs during the afternoon in the mid 60s.
Surprise, surprise with our split weekend. Rain continues for Saturday before letting up during the afternoon. Sunday looks much better with highs during both days in the mid to upper 50s.
