Showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening. A Flash Flood Watch remains active until 8pm for southeastern Kentucky.
Milder air is settling into the bluegrass state and will hang around for several more days. This will boost our temps toward the 70s through the coming weekend.
Temps on Thursday will be right around 70 degrees under mostly sunny skies. The nice weather will go away for Friday with the threat for showers and thunderstorms.
Our weekend is looking great with temps warming well into the mid and upper 70s. There will be the threat for scattered storms moving in by Sunday. Those storms will increase into early next week with thermometers falling.
It may get chilly for a few days into the middle of next week.
