UK fans welcome College Gameday to Rupp
UK fans flock to Rupp
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)-Big Blue fans welcomed the hosts of ESPN's College Gameday to Rupp Arena, flooding the seats right at eight o'clock Saturday morning.
"Tired, but excited!) exclaimed UK student Brent Holuta as he took his seat.
William Bolden continued, "I've been up since six, I am very eager for this."
UK Fans put on their gamefaces and gave the ESPN crew the full court press, leading cheers even through commercial breaks.
While there were a few Mizzou fans in the stands, most everyone there was wearing blue.
"I'm a huge UK fan," explained Jessica Galvin, who was seated next to her husband. Her husband is a Mizzou grad.
'I usually cheer for UK," Connor Galvin explained. "Just not today!"
College gameday ran from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on ESPN. Stay with WKYT for a special edition of Wildcat Wrap Up after the game.
