PARIS, Ky. (WKYT) - A lengthy undercover investigation ended with three people going to jail. The arrests happened Thursday in Bourbon County.
Kentucky State Police say the investigation centered on a home on 9th Street. They say it was months of work that led to multiple arrests.
Around 11am undercover officers swarmed the house, arresting Melissa Adams and Sarah Ashley McDaniel. Both women were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
Neighbors say it wasn't uncommon for the home to have 20 or more visitors during a single day.
Police say the information they gained during those arrests led them to another person who was selling drugs. They arranged a meeting with Tress Parker at the parking lot of a closed business and placed him under arrest charging him with trafficking in a controlled substance.
The operation involved Kentucky State Police, Paris Police and the Bourbon County Sheriff's Department.
Police say the drugs involved were oxycodone pills and they've seized more than 100 so far. They say the investigating is ongoing and more arrests are likely.
