General showers will be the main action over the next few hours. A few could remain on the strong to severe side in eastern parts of Kentucky.
Arctic cold temps continue across the bluegrass state. Clear skies will allow for readings to drop back into the low and middle teens for most areas tonight.
Sunny skies will do little to warm us up on Thursday. Highs will reach the mid and upper 20s. Friday starts very cold with lows around 10 and then sees temps rebound toward freezing.
A weak system will throw a touch of light snow our way Friday evening. We could see some very light rain or snow showers into Saturday as temps spike to around 40.
This will set the stage for another front to drop into the state for Sunday. That happens as low pressure develops along the front and rides to the northeast. Depending on the track of that low... rain, snow, ice or a combo will be possible.
Even colder air swings in behind that for the middle of next week.
