A band of heavy rain continues to sink southward into the region. We will have to keep a close eye on this later this evening into tonight. The rest of the forecast remains unchanged with a major winter storm moving in late Wednesday and Thursday.
Heading into the afternoon, we are looking at much calmer conditions. However, that is when the actual front moves through which will give us the chance of a couple showers or thunderstorms, especially for the eastern zones.
Into the weekend, you can expect clearing of the skies and cooler conditions. Highs for both days will be in the 50s and 60s with mostly sunny skies.
More rain heads our way come the start of the work week. Our cooler conditions last for the next several days, but we head back toward 70° the end of next week.
