Very nice weather continues across the region as we head into the last weekend of the year. Sunny skies will give way to an increase in clouds on Saturday as temps head toward 50 degrees.
Those clouds are ahead of low pressure working our way from the deep south. This low will bring showers in here Saturday night into Sunday with highs in the low 40s.
Arctic air returns by Sunday night and Monday morning. This will likely be accompanied by a band of light snow and flurries. Temps by Monday afternoon will be in the 20s for highs with some snow showers dancing about.
A series of systems will dive in here from the northwest as we head into next week. These can produce light snow chances to go along with very cold temps.
