DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) - Democrat John Edwards has given his
long-awaited endorsement to Barack Obama.
It's a major boost from a former presidential rival as Obama
tries to shrug off Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is determined to
press ahead.
Edwards was to appear with Obama in Grand Rapids, Mich., as
Obama campaigns in a critical general election battleground.
The endorsement comes the day after Clinton defeated Obama by
more than 2-to-1 in West Virginia. The loss highlighted Obama's
work to win over the "Hillary Democrats" - white, working-class
voters who also supported Edwards in large numbers before he exited
the race.
Edwards, a former North Carolina senator and the 2004 vice
presidential nominee, dropped out of the race in late January.

Hillary will win in Kentucky and it's political suicide for Doc Dan to support Obama now in this state, maybe after the election.

edwards makes his endorsement known. edwards has been a looser for many years.ky always votes for the winning candiate for president.history has shown the presidential candiate that carries the ky vote will be elected as the next president.

Well I used to like Edwards, but I guess he is just like the rest of politicians. Doesn't wait to hear how the people feel before speaking, but we all know he has an agenda and that is he wants to be on that ticket as the VP. But Obama will still not get my vote even if I have to vote for my dog which is deaf and dumb!!! At least the dog will protect the people!!! Obama would feed us to the wolves! Wake up people and realize what is going on. His skeletons are coming out one by one and they get worse every time one comes out. Yes he did go to a Muslim school growing up! He can say he didn't if he wants to but it was on his website at one time that he did. I am sure he has taken it off by now knowing how the people really feel.

" Long- Awaited Endorsement? " Looking back to the debates we all knew John Edwards would side with Barack Obama. Edwards is hoping to become the VP on the Obama ticket. "Work for the middle class" haha he could not even STAY in the race, or roll with the punches. These two just like beating up on Hillary.....the race is on, and she is not out! VOTE HILLARY KENTUCKY!

I've been curious as to who Edwards was going to back. Edwards is still a fave of mine, but whom ever gets the Democrat nod, I'm supporting. This white, working class female supports Obama first, Clinton second. Time for a Democrat to be in the Whitehouse.
