Another candidate is throwing his hat into the ring for Kentucky's contested U.S. Senate seat.

Sonny Landham, an actor and resident of Ashland, announced that he will run against Mitch McConnell and Bruce Lunsford in November.

Landham has the endorsement of the Libertarian Party.

Landham ran for governor back in 2002.

He also appeared in the movies Predator, 48 Hours, and Action Jackson.
