FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Former Kentucky Attorney General Greg
Stumbo says he's considering a run to be speaker of the state
House.

Stumbo is a former House majority floor leader.

The Prestonsburg Democrat returned to his former House seat earlier this year.

Stumbo says some other lawmakers don't seem satisfied with the
current House leadership so he may challenge House Speaker Jody
Richards for his top post.

Richards did not immediately return a call to his office seeking
comment.
