Butler County Picks Up District Win Over Indians
Stivers' 312 yards passing lead Bears' effort in district contest.

Jessie Stivers threw for 312 yards and Butler County gained 561 total yards as the Bears (3-0, 1-0 Class AAA District 2) started district play in fine form with a 53-21 win at Adair County on Friday.
Stivers finished 16-of-25 through the air for those 312 yards and three touchdowns to lead the attack.
Adair County (0-2, 0-1) had a nice offensive night of its own - it gained 283 yards on the ground, led by 75 yards from Brad Moore and 69 from Malcom Thomas.
Next week, the Bears continue district play hosting Hart County while the Indians visit Russellville in a district contest.
